Juliette Jacobs est une photographe documentaire et directrice artistique belge. Elle explore la complexité du rapport à l’intime, au corps et à la santé mentale à travers une pratique située entre art, anthropologie visuelle et engagement social. Sa démarche s’appuie sur l’image comme outil de soin, de transmission et de résistance.

Formée en Art et Culture à l’Université de Maastricht (spécialisation médiatique), elle a poursuivi un Erasmus en anthropologie visuelle à Goldsmith (Londres), une formation en vidéo documentaire à la SAE Bruxelles, avant d’obtenir un master en photographie documentaire au Spéos Institute of Photography en partenariat avec la Magnum Photo Agency.

Juliette Jacobs is a Belgian documentary photographer and artistic director. She explores the complexity of the relationship with intimacy, the body, and mental health through a practice situated at the intersection of art, visual anthropology, and social engagement. Her approach relies on the image as a tool for care, transmission, and resistance.

Trained in Art and Culture at Maastricht University (with a specialization in media), she completed an Erasmus program in visual anthropology at Goldsmiths (London), a documentary video training at SAE Brussels, and later obtained a master's degree in documentary photography from the Spéos Institute of Photography in partnership with Magnum Photos Agency.
